This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit 3DSkillUp, browse its assets and tutorials, use its browser tools or contact its owner. Read it together with the Cookie Policy and Terms and Conditions.
In brief: the site is hosted on Netlify and uses Netlify Web Analytics. Contact email is managed through GoDaddy. The Normal Map Converter processes your selected files on your device. YouTube players remain disconnected until you choose to activate them. There are no visitor accounts, comments, newsletter subscriptions or on-site checkout.
1. Data controller and contact
Francesco Saviano, operating 3DSkillUp in Italy, is the data controller for the processing described here.

Use this email for privacy questions, objections and requests to exercise your rights. You do not need to create an account or subscribe to anything to contact us.
2. Website delivery and security
When your browser requests a page, image, font or other file, the hosting infrastructure receives information needed to deliver it. This can include your IP address, the requested URL, request time, browser or device information, referring page when supplied, response status and technical error information.
Netlify provides hosting and content delivery. Technical information is used to serve the site, detect abuse, investigate faults and maintain availability and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Information required to answer a specific legal obligation is processed under Article 6(1)(c).
These technical requests occur even though the website is static and has no user database. If the information needed for a network connection is not provided, the requested page cannot be delivered.
Free asset ZIP files are hosted on Cloudflare R2 at downloads.3dskillup.art. When you choose a download, your browser contacts that service directly. Cloudflare processes technical request information, including IP addresses and traffic data, to deliver and protect the download. Our basis is the legitimate interest in providing the requested resource and maintaining security, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. No account, email address or payment is required. The website does not prefetch these downloads. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
3. Netlify Web Analytics
We use Netlify Web Analytics to understand overall site usage and improve content and reliability. It derives statistics from requests handled by Netlify’s servers, including page views, popular pages, referring sources, approximate visitor locations, missing resources and bandwidth. Its visitor counts use IP addresses; the absence of tracking cookies does not mean that an IP address is never processed.
Web Analytics does not install an analytics script, tracking pixel or analytics cookie in your browser. We use the resulting statistics to evaluate the website, not to create advertising profiles or follow you across unrelated websites. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving this website, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You may object for reasons relating to your particular situation by contacting us.
Netlify Web Analytics is distinct from a browser-based monitoring or advertising service. This website does not include Google Analytics, advertising pixels or a client-side Real User Monitoring integration in its application code.

4. Email enquiries
If you write to info@3dskillup.art, we receive your email address, any name you provide, the message, attachments and associated email metadata. The mailbox is provided through GoDaddy and its relevant service providers. Opening a mail link launches your chosen email service; it does not submit a form on this website.
We use your message to answer your enquiry, provide requested support and keep the correspondence needed to handle it. For requests about a possible purchase or an existing service, the basis is taking steps at your request or performing the relevant contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general enquiries, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding, under Article 6(1)(f). Legal or accounting records are handled under Article 6(1)(c) where an obligation applies.
Providing information by email is voluntary, but we cannot respond without contact details and enough information to understand the request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information that is not needed. A message to us does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
5. Browser tools, search and image viewing
The Normal Map Converter validates and processes selected images locally in your browser. Your image contents, filename and conversion result are not uploaded to 3DSkillUp, Netlify or an image-processing service by the tool. Processing code and pages are still downloaded from our hosting infrastructure, as described above. Browser capability checks select suitable image-size limits locally; they are not used by the tool to create or transmit a visitor identifier.
The tool uses temporary browser memory and local previews. Reset releases the active file and preview references; leaving the page ends its active processing. Downloading saves a result on your device, which you control. We do not receive a server copy that we could later retrieve or delete for you. Your browser, operating system and any device backup services remain subject to their own settings.
Search and catalog filtering run in the browser using the site’s own content index. Search terms and filter choices can appear in the page URL and browser history. Opening or reloading such a URL can send it to the hosting service, where it may appear in request logs. Do not enter private information into site search.
The image lightbox loads the selected image from this site’s hosting service. Images and fonts used by the site are served locally rather than through a separate font-tracking service. These features do not create visitor accounts or persistent preference profiles.
6. Optional YouTube videos
Some tutorials offer a YouTube player. Before activation, the player is replaced by a local notice and no embedded-player request is sent to YouTube by that component.
Selecting Allow YouTube and play gives consent to connect that player for the current page visit. Google/YouTube then receives information such as your IP address, browser details, the referring site and playback interactions, and may use cookies or similar storage. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, which is not a promise of no data processing. Google processes information for its own purposes under its policies; for EEA users, its privacy notice identifies Google Ireland Limited as the responsible provider for the relevant services.
The basis for our activation of the optional connection is your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can decline simply by leaving the player inactive; the article remains available. Use Stop and remove YouTube player to withdraw that permission for the embedded player. Reloading or leaving the page also removes the player, and permission is not remembered for a later visit. Withdrawal does not undo information already transmitted or delete storage controlled by Google. The Cookie Policy explains your choices.

7. External purchases, RSS and earlier subscriptions
Product links take you to the identified marketplace, such as Superhive or another platform shown in the listing. Account creation, checkout, payment and download on that platform follow its own privacy information. We do not collect card details or operate a checkout on 3dskillup.art. If a marketplace shares order or support information with us as the asset creator or seller, we use it only as needed to fulfil the purchase, provide support or meet legal obligations.
RSS lets you follow public posts through your chosen reader without supplying an email address to this website. Your reader’s handling of your subscription is governed by that service.
No newsletter or MailerLite integration is currently active on this website. If you have questions about information supplied through an earlier version of the site, contact us. Updating this notice does not itself erase historical records or assert that records have already been deleted.
8. Recipients and international processing
Access is limited to the controller and service providers needed for the relevant activity: Netlify for hosting and Web Analytics; Cloudflare for free asset download delivery; GoDaddy and the providers involved in the email service for correspondence; and professional advisers or public authorities when a specific legal need requires disclosure. Hosting and email providers process customer data on our behalf within the scope of their service agreements. They may separately act as controllers for their own account, security or legal purposes.
Google/YouTube and external marketplaces handle their own platform processing. We do not sell visitors’ personal information or disclose it to advertising networks for our own targeted advertising.
Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, transfers must use an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional measures where necessary. Netlify and GoDaddy describe their processor arrangements and transfer safeguards in their Netlify DPA and GoDaddy DPA. Cloudflare describes its processing and transfer safeguards in its Data Processing Addendum. Google’s arrangements are described in its privacy information. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy, subject to legitimate confidentiality protections.
9. How long information is kept
Information is kept only as long as needed for its purpose, subject to applicable legal requirements:
- Hosting and analytics: the relevant provider’s operational retention applies. Necessity is assessed against delivering and securing the service, detecting faults and producing usage statistics. Netlify’s standard Web Analytics charts show a rolling 30-day view; that display window is not a promise that every underlying log or backup is erased on day 30.
- Enquiries and support: correspondence is retained while resolving the request and for necessary follow-up. Information still needed for a contract, legal obligation or actual or reasonably anticipated dispute may be retained for the applicable obligation or claim period. Once those purposes and any applicable obligation or claim period end, the relevant correspondence is deleted rather than retained indefinitely.
- Legal and accounting records: the applicable statutory period determines retention. Only relevant records are retained for that purpose.
- Locally processed images: there is no server retention by the converter. Downloaded copies remain under your control.
- YouTube and marketplace data: the relevant platform’s retention rules apply to its own processing. Removing a player does not erase a provider’s records.
Retention decisions take account of the nature of the information, the request or transaction involved and whether a legal reason requires continued storage. You may ask about the period or criteria applicable to a particular record.
10. Your rights and how to exercise them
Under the GDPR, where its conditions apply, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data. Portability applies to eligible automated processing based on consent or contract. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation; we must assess that objection and the applicable grounds for continuing the processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send requests to info@3dskillup.art. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity, without collecting unnecessary documents. We respond without undue delay and normally within one month. Where the law allows an extension because of complexity or the number of requests, we explain the reason within the initial month. Requests are generally free of charge, subject to the GDPR’s limited exceptions.
You can complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority — Garante, or to the competent authority where you habitually reside, work or consider an infringement has occurred. You do not need our permission to complain.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. Security measures include HTTPS, restricted third-party loading and local processing of tool images; no online system can promise absolute security.
11. Changes to this notice
We update this page when relevant processing changes and show the revision date above. A policy update or continued browsing does not give consent to new optional tracking. If a new feature needs consent or additional information, it must provide that before the relevant processing begins.
