Warm honey-colored wood shows closely spaced flowing grain beneath a smooth surface highlight. The preview helps compare its grain, color and surface character before applying it to a modeled object.
Apply it to furniture fronts, interior trim or a product pedestal where the grain should stay visible. Orient neighboring pieces consistently with their construction. Compare a broad lit region and a grazing reflection before settling on the material scale.
Use geometry for board boundaries and rounded corners; avoid enlarging the grain until it reads as a carved groove.
The product listing specifies 4K, 2K and 1K PNG maps with seamless tiling.
Use the aged wood workflow to evaluate grain direction and wear as separate features. The Blender PBR setup guide covers connecting the supplied maps before comparing finishes.
Compare dark polished grain for a deeper reddish-brown alternative on the same furniture model. See Dark Wood PBR Texture — Polished Grain.
The existing dark timber is useful for comparing how a deeper finish changes the furniture. Explore Dark Wood PBR Texture — Reddish Grain.
Browse the wood & bark PBR collection for other surfaces in this family. The Superhive button opens the current product listing for package contents, pricing and license details.
For a different grain and finish, compare Natural Wood PBR Texture — Tangled Grain: warm tan wood has pronounced tangled grain, shallow grooves and irregular flowing bands across the surface.
For a different grain and finish, compare Fine Wood Grain PBR Texture: fine light brown grain forms closely spaced flowing lines with gentle tonal variation and few strong dark marks.
After downloading the material's maps, open the PBR Material Previewer to compare supported textures on a sphere, cube or plane under HDR lighting. Check normal direction, roughness and tiling locally before applying the material to your scene. Product files are not loaded automatically.
