A finely ridged bark surface with compact vertical grooves and muted gray-brown color. Its narrow pattern is useful when broad plates of bark would look too coarse for the intended tree.
Try it on slender trunks, branches or background woodland props. Orient the main grooves along the length of the mesh and check that the UVs do not stretch the fine ridges near branch junctions.
The source listing specifies 4K / 2K / 1K PNG maps, seamless tiling and a Metallic/Roughness workflow.
For trunks and logs, the bark UV workflow covers ridge direction, seam placement, branch transitions and moss distribution.
Check for UV stretching on curved surfaces when wrapping the texture around a trunk. The normal-map workflow helps you separate shading detail from the geometry needed for the silhouette.

Read articleUV stretching is one of the most common problems you may encounter when preparing a 3D model for texturing. Your geometry can look perfectly correct in the viewport, but as soon as you apply a checker pattern, wood grain, fabric…
