A subtle ivory stone for architectural surfaces

Fine-Pitted Ivory Limestone combines a light cream palette with small scattered pores and delicate grain. The preview shows a gently varied surface that keeps the stone readable without the strong bands or large cavities of a more pronounced travertine finish.

Try it on a wall panel, shelf, display plinth or pale stone prop. Its restrained pattern is useful when the main subject should remain the focal point. Review the material on the actual object as well as the preview sphere, especially when a large flat face reveals more repetition than a curved sample.

Included textures and workflow

The free download contains 2K textures supplied for the PBR Metallic-Roughness workflow. Import the texture files, inspect their intended roles and connect them to your material shader. The preview sphere demonstrates the surface appearance; the download is a material resource for your own geometry.

Open compatible maps in the PBR Material Previewer for an initial inspection. Then use the Blender material test scene to compare the same surface on a plane, a curved object and a beveled block under consistent lighting.

Keep fine pores at a believable scale

Begin with the object’s dimensions and choose a pore size that suits the shot. Small pits can disappear at a distant camera position or become oversized when mapping is stretched across a narrow component. Compare a close view with the intended final framing before changing the material strength.

Keep the coordinates consistent across the supplied maps and change one setting at a time. A restrained material is easier to judge when the lighting stays fixed and the surrounding surfaces do not dominate the comparison.

Compare the other free stone finishes

For more visible cavities, try Open-Pore Cream Travertine on the same test object. For a more uneven, weathered appearance, compare Rough Chalky White Limestone. Keeping the camera and material scale deliberate makes the difference between fine grain, open pores and rough relief easier to assess.
